If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life, come and relax in the tranquil countryside at Bumper Castle Farm. The farm is situated on a quiet country lane, two miles north of Darley Dale. Our nearest neighbours are a mile away in any direction yet we are only ten minutes by car away from Matlock, Bakewell or Chesterfield. Being in the heart of the countryside we are free from traffic noise and light pollution, so it is the perfect place to come and get away from it all.
There will always be a warm welcome from Gillian, John and Sarah and our other residents will be pleased to see you as well. Sammi, our Border Collie loves people and our two cats, Misty and Tibbs are usually there to greet you. In Spring and Summer, the cows are often at the gate wanting some fuss.
The views from the farm are wonderful, over fields and woodland down the valley to the south and east and over heather moorland to the north and west.
